Introduction

 

    My story is a journey, a healing of sorts, a way of expression through an elaborate tale of my life.  We all have demons, we all have secrets, for some, stories, are a way to escape life, for me, it was to create one.

     My name is Cassandra, "Cassie" to most. I am a member of the Hurst family, and though that may not mean anything to you, it just may be enough to shed some light on the demons I possess inside my head, and by the end of my story, you will come to understand why I am who I am.

     A child prodigy of my parents, Hunter and Summer; life for me was but a fluoxetine short of a state prison sentence and on some days, still a possibility.

     Growing up on the road, in the spotlight of the squared circle, I was forced to witness first-hand what violence, sexuality, betrayal, loyalty and family truly meant to a Hurst at a very young age.  The phrases "Always and Forever" and the iconic "Where rules and bones were made to be broken!"  are tattooed upon each family member in my household and will forever burn in the back of my mind.  The symbol of unity, the marking of family, the curse...the vow of New Breed!
